Where Confidence Comes From

Do you remember the first time you walked in heels?  (Okay, men, you'll have to use your imagination here)  Walking in heels the first time is not an easy task.  It requires a mixture of balance and poise. Were you wobbly and awkward at first?  Of course you were!  It takes confidence to successfully walk in heels and look natural.

What did it take to build your confidence?

PRACTICE!

The more you practiced walking on those stiletto pumps the steadier you became.  Over time you developed the ability to walk in heels without wobbling or falling over, and your confidence walking in high heels grew.

Being confident is being certain in your ability to do something -- anything -- without awkwardness or self-doubt.

So, ladies and gentlemen, don't be afraid to try something new.  Just make sure you leave plenty of time to practice and rehearse your new skill.
